EcoVille Georgia has completed two commercial solar installations with a combined capacity of 1,058 kW, serving a Ramada hotel and a production facility operated by Energy 2007.
The projects show how businesses with different electricity needs are using solar generation to manage their energy costs. According to figures provided by EcoVille, the two systems are expected to generate more than 1.48 million kWh of electricity per year combined.
A 550 kW system for Ramada
EcoVille installed a 550 kW solar power plant for a Ramada hotel. The system uses JA Solar 625 W modules and Solis inverters, with estimated annual generation of 832,832 kWh.
The panels are located away from the hotel rather than on the building itself. EcoVille says the system was designed to generate enough electricity to cover the corresponding energy costs, in line with the client’s requirement. This does not necessarily mean that the plant supplies all of the hotel’s electricity directly or matches its consumption in every hour.

Solar generation for Energy 2007
The second installation is a 508 kW solar power plant for Energy 2007, which operates a facility housing several types of production activity. It uses JA Solar 620 W modules and Solis inverters.
EcoVille estimates that this plant will generate more than 650,000 kWh annually. The company expects the generation to help Energy 2007 reduce its electricity expenditure.
Both projects add to Georgia’s growing portfolio of commercial solar installations. Their different settings also underline a practical point: the value of a solar plant depends not only on its installed capacity, but on how its generation is matched to the customer’s electricity use and commercial arrangements.
